Class #1 – February 13 – The Upper Digestive Tract
Looking at the physiology of this part of the body. This will include information on disease and health conditions that can arise within this part of the body, including acid reflux and GERD. The class wraps up by covering nutrition and lifestyle habits that may be supportive reducing/eliminating symptoms of these health concerns as well as how these habits can be used for preventative care/maintaining a healthy digestive system.

Class #2 – February 20 – The Liver
Looking at functions of the liver and nutrients involved in the physiology of this organ. This will include information on diseases and symptoms that arise that can be precursors to disease. We’ll look at nutrition and lifestyle recommendations for fatty liver and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease as well as how these may be supportive for preventative care and overall health and optimal function of your liver.

Class #3 – February 27 – The Microbiome
Looking at the functions of this community within your digestive system. This will include information on health conditions, like dysbiosis and symptoms that can arise due to imbalance within this community. We’ll cover nutrition and lifestyle recommendations that may be helpful in maintaining/reestablishing balance within this community.
